OpenMesh
MAC 00:12:cf:80:66:aa
On the bench they take 200mA at 6vdc idling w/o a LAN jack plugged in.

Battery Test -
Using 4x Duracell AA Alkaline batteries.

Start 3:34PM
Power applied
Start 3:36PM
Pulling down RadioParadise Stream at 16Kb/s
End 6:18PM
Last packet transmitted. Unit still has lights lit.
Rebooting does not get this unit working again.
The unit works after putting it on a wall power supply.

Meraki
MAC 00:18:0a:01:24:56
On the bench they take 225mA at 6vdc idling w/o a LAN jack plugged in.

Battery Test -
Using 4x Duracell AA Alkaline batteries.

Start 6:33PM
Power applied
Start 6:35PM
Pulling down RadioParadise Stream at 16Kb/s
End 7:03PM
Last packet transmitted. Unit still has lights lit.
Rebooting does not get this unit working again.
The unit works after putting it on a wall power supply.

Summary...

Not sure of the capacity of these batteries as they have been in my refridgerator for some months (years?) now. It does seem that the Meraki's should die first as they are really designed for 7.5 volts and they draw a little more than 20% more power.
