I'll check the transfer on Wings Over the Golden Gate. I have a hunch that the film itself was printed off center, but I'm not 100% sure.
As for the second instance, you're right -- I'll unsqueeze the file to Scope aspect ratio and reload. Won't be until next week, probably -- plate overfull right now.

Thanks! As I said, I noticed a number of other films also seemed to be cropped top and/or bottom. Most would have been shot Academy Ratio and should therefore fill the screen, but some are showing at about 1:1.66, which would generally only result from cropping. Would it be helpful if I kept a list as I browse and post it?
