Anyone going to Railroad Earth's "Music on the Mountaintop" festival in North Carolina Aug 24th - 26th? |
I'll be in Asheville on the 22nd & 23rd before driving over to Boone & Grandfather Mountain. If anyone else from this forum will be there get in touch so I can buy you a beer or three.

Oh, man looks like fun. I have been to LEAF quite a number of times and am overdue for the environs of Black Mountain, but the timing just won't work for me. Make sure you see Greensky Bluegrass, they are great fun. That's an impressive lineup.

will be celebrating my 40th anniversary(8/26/2012) by revisiting the Peaks of Otter Lodge(we honeymooned there in 1972) and then traveling down a short section of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia for some sightseeing and photography
first "vacation" with just the wife and I in quite a while

Make sure you get lots of rubies. This is a one time deal and at least progeny, siblings and cousins 3 times out should be considered. 40 years! Jeez, the Veneta show was the next day!
I have a ruby in my heart for both of you. Happy 40th Anniversary!
